    Guild Westerly D140 is a robust, clear
    and resonant instrument. Is a joy to the ears and fun to play.
    Bending strings is a large part of technique and changing from the usual set of 12-53 to the Sono-Tone Symphonic 11-50s was decidedly a departure.
    A slight drop in volume (unplugged) was expected, but the balance, sustain, tone enhancement and big time FEEL wasn’t anticipated in such a “In Your Face” way.
    Big differences like this one doesn’t happen that often. So a review was inevitable.
